Aiken Tournment Sept 3, 2011

I was very disappointed for the first time playing in a NSA tournment. On Deck Softball paid for a gauranteed four games and all we received was three. I was also disappointed in the fact that the rules were changed before talking to the teams that was involved in the rule change. I understand that we signed up for 0 homers, but when we palyed our first two games it was 1 homer and 1 up. I wasn't bothered by the fact that the homers was taken from us, I was bothered by the fact that the pool play ended after the second game and we were not told until the 5th or 6th ending of game three in which we did loss and we were out of the tournment. I feel that if the rules are to be changed after the first game is started, than EVERY team that is involved in the changes should be talked to in a meeting forum to see if the team is wanting to be involved in the rule change or not. I also feel that since I did not get my four games as promised via the information on the website, we should be given a $25 refund for the simple fact that we were not given what was promised!!! I don't think we will play in the Aiken Tournment again, this is still not setting right with me nor the team!

Terry I was not there-But How did you not get your 4 Games? You should have got 2 pool games and then double elimination! This is the first i have heard about this BUT I promise If You only Played 3 games I will Refund you What ever U Feel is right!

The Format Was:
2 pool Games[That Was The Same as last year and posted as Such This year] and Then a Double Elimination For ALL teams!

It was posted that ALL Pool play games Was 1 and 1 up-Rec was 0 HRS[Again Posted as Such]-Mike Did this to Give the Rec teams A Chance To Hit HRs inPool play Games], Please Call me if you Only Got three Games! I Will make it right Even Though I Was Not there Thanks In Advance!

dude what are you talking about? i played in the rec part also and all 4 of us got atleast 4 games. we played 2 pool play games just like the post said and then a double elim. tournament like it said. i was just glad the director[not jeff heard he had family issues] let us break off into our on little tournament. we got killed the first 2 games. we went to the tournament expecting 0 hrs period and was glad to get the 1 and 1 up rule for the pool play game.i do remember u only had 8 players and the director let u pick up a player from another team to play us,the ump ask us if we minded not counting the out for the 10th spot and we agreed not to.so i feel they helped u the best they could. not bashing u at all[great bunch of guys] just stating the facts as i know them

if u only played 3 games u must have went 0-3 or 1-2. Why the hell would u even want to play a 4th game??? 3gg suck anyways much less 4gg
