srry stankonu but the champs are looking to repeat the states from last year pub/slecet

I think people's biggest problem with rec come from posts like this.  Are really talking about repeating as rec champions.  If you were one of the better Rec teams last year why aren't you playing E.  I think that there is a place for rec but I feel like if most everyone around the state  knows your team name you probably need to graduate on from rec.

Who won the NSA Rec division last year??

Those teams are not going to move up willingly. The Director needs to do it for them and stop allowing these teams that continue to win, continue to play in REC

I play on a rec. team and if some of the upper E teams moved up I know that the upper rec teams would move up or atleast we would. This is our first season putting a team together. We've placed in some and also gone home early in some. We're going to finish the year in rec. and if we can keep our players together than we will gladly move up to E. Everyone talks about teams staying down in rec but what about the teams that play D going down to play E. I'm not singling out the crocs bc I know their not the only ones that do it but they are the first ones that popped in my head. They probably did bc their was no D but either way first year teams have no business being in the same bracket as a D team. Most the people that are speaking on this topic are C and D class players anyway. What would it be like having more teams in your bracket but also only playing 4 innings most of the games. I wouldn't think it would be fun for either side. With all this being said I agree with having some kind of system that helps place teams in the right division  but trashing the rec and E division when you place D and C ball isn't the way to do it. Figure out a way that benefits everyone and not just your class and take it to the directors and see what they have to say being that it is THEIR job to do these things. Not singling anyone out or bashing anyone just throwing some stuff out there.

Rec teams? Hell, I'm playing E this year and I don't even know who any teams in my own classes are anymore. I just show up. Last year for me, may as well go out in style. I'm picking Pure Luck to win a state, just don't know which one yet. And hopefully the world in TN too!
